Wart
What is a wart?
A wart is a benign tumor of the epithelial tissue caused by Papillomavirus. It comes in many different varieties, depending on the type of the virus infection.
Warts are easily transmitted and are one of the most common infections. They can sometimes spontaneously disappear after a year or more and sometimes people develop resistance to them after they've healed. When and why this happens only to some people is still unknown.
A wart can grow on any area of the skin, although the most common sites are the nose, back and palms of the hands and on feet. A very common form of filamentous wart or "Papilloma" is usually found on eyelids, neck chest and other areas. Flat warts are most common on back of hands and face. Warts can also appear in the mouth, around the anus and in vagina and cervix of the uterus.
A special form of warts, called "genital wart" can be found near, on and in the genitals. It is caused by a strain of Papillomavirus that can cause cancer in the uterus. It is very critical to seek cure immediately after spotting such a change.
Warts are transmitted through direct and indirect contact and usually require watter for successful transmission. A break in skin is usually required for successful transmission, but it is not mandatory.
There are several methods of wart removal. Usually a doctor can use liquid nitrogen to freeze them. There are also other abrasive substances available that kill epithelial cells and thus eliminate a wart as the virus can only proliferate in living cells. Both methods described here must be repeated several times and it can usually take many months to eliminate all the warts.
A very recommended natural treatment can be found here (click on the word here). It will eliminate all kinds of wart infections in about 3 weeks if used correctly and comes with a 100% guarantee.
Plantar wart is a very stubborn form of warts and may take much longer to eliminate. It can be contracted very easily in the public showers, pools etc.
You don't have to be paranoid, but exercise good hygiene and you should do fine.
If infected with warts or in contact with a person diagnosed of having warts, always wash hands thoroughly before touching other parts of yourself. Many new warts come by the means of self-infection so be careful.
Hope this was helpful. Remember: don't panic. It is very controllable and can be cured.
